Delaney malloy

Delaney is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a clinical focus on mood disorders, the mind-body connection, and identity development. Delaney is completing her practicum under the supervision of Meghan Lawson, LPC-S.

She works with teens and adults from all walks of life and welcomes clients navigating mood disorders, life transitions, identity exploration, and personal growth. With a background as a competitive dancer and a passion for wellness, she believes that mental health is deeply connected to many aspects of our daily lives—including sleep, movement, nutrition, and connection with others. While her work is rooted in supporting mental and emotional well-being, she also recognizes how our physical health can impact how we feel and function.

Delaney takes a whole-person approach to counseling, valuing the deep connection between mental, physical, and emotional wellness. She understands firsthand how overwhelming life can feel when you're struggling with anxiety, depression, or navigating transitions. Her own experiences with mental health challenges have fueled her passion for supporting others in their healing and growth.

Above all, Delaney sees counseling as a space for clients to feel heard, understood, and supported. She values being a steady, compassionate presence for people to talk through what they’re carrying, explore their inner world, and work toward clarity, confidence, and change at their own pace.

Outside of her clinical work and school, Delaney enjoys taking Pilates classes, reading, and browsing online for cute outfit inspiration. She values balance in all areas of life and believes joy, movement, and creativity are all important parts of well-being.

Keke Brooks

KeKe is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a focused interest in anxiety, performance anxiety, ADHD, and holistic recovery. She is practicing under the clinical supervision of Meghan Lawson, LPC-S.

Rooted in the belief that we are all "gracefully broken," KeKe draws inspiration from the sunflower—an emblem of resilience that turns toward the light even after enduring storms. This image reflects her personal philosophy: that healing, transformation, your dreams, and growth are always possible, no matter where you're starting from. As a resilient woman of faith who has navigated her own traumas, KeKe brings warmth, compassion, and deep empathy into the counseling room. Her clients can expect a nonjudgmental space filled with advanced empathy, active listening, and gentle yet effective accountability. Her goal is to equip individuals with practical tools to face life’s challenges with confidence and clarity.

KeKe is passionate about working with both teenagers and adults from diverse backgrounds. She provides culturally responsive care and values diversity, equity, and inclusion in all her therapeutic relationships. Her areas of interest include anxiety, depression, self-esteem, societal oppression, church hurt, life transitions, relationships, abuse recovery, and generational trauma. She is especially attuned to the needs of clients navigating intersecting identities related to race, gender, and sexual orientation. Specializing in Christian counseling, KeKe warmly welcomes clients of all belief systems. She meets each individual with respect, love, and without judgment. Her approach is grounded in her local church’s guiding principle that “no one walks alone,” and she strives to ensure that every client feels seen, heard, valued, and supported.

Arden Huston

Arden Huston is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in professional counseling. She is seeing clients under the supervision of Meghan Lawson, LPC-S.

Arden’s intended areas of interest are anxiety, depression, bipolar, OCD, sexual abuse/trauma, identity exploration, and church hurt related issues. Her work focuses on building emotional awareness, fostering self-acceptance, and promoting mental wellness.

Arden believes in meeting adolescents and adults where they are and supporting their journey toward healing. Her clinical skillset, combined with a warm and empathetic counseling environment, focuses on an individualized approach tailored to each person’s unique needs.

Arden believes that counseling presents an incredible opportunity to share your story in a safe and supportive environment- often in a way you might have never shared before. She has a passion for helping others, no matter their beliefs, abilities, or life circumstances. Her main drive is to intentionally and authentically create inspiration and motivation for her clients— to remind you that even in tough moments you are capable, valuable, and not alone.

Outside of her professional work, Arden enjoys reading a good book, watching reality TV, spending time with her corgi, and making frequent trips to T.J.Maxx.

The Lawson Counseling Center

The Lawson Counseling Center (LCC) was born out of many years of dedication to the field of mental health. The LCC is committed to serving adolescents, adults, and young couples in order to assist them in growing, learning, and striving for a healthy self.

What is counseling? Counseling is sometimes referred to as psychotherapy or therapy. Essentially, counseling is a collaboration between the counselor and the client in order to identify goals and potential solutions to problems which are causing emotional turmoil. The hope is that by engaging in counseling, a client will improve their coping and communication skills, strengthen their self esteem, promote and improve their emotional, spiritual, and mental health.

In this practice, we work hard to listen to you compassionately, to gently encourage and guide you, and to assist you in exploring alternate ways of thinking and behaving. Everyone’s goals in counseling are different, therefore a variety of treatment approaches are utilized depending on your unique treatment plan. Approaches include, but are not limited to, Emotion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Person Centered Therapy (We know these titles may not make sense to everyone- if you ever have questions about treatment approaches, we would love to help answer them). For anyone who is interested, the use of art, music, walk-and-talks, and other creative approaches are always encouraged and utilized in this practice!

Our faith is important to us. We encourage you to explore your own faith and spiritual practices in the safe context of counseling. We may share the same foundational beliefs, or we may differ (that’s ok!). Regardless, we hope this is a healthy space to explore all sides of ourselves, emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually, together.
