Individual Counseling
A private and safe setting to tackle life’s challenges together
Individual counseling is the primary focus of the LCC. Direct mental health counseling is available for a variety specialties, including anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders, eating issues, trauma, impact of change, adolescent and early adult development, communication issues, relationships, and marriage.
Additionally, Meghan specializes in perinatal/postnatal mood disorders, maternal development, families, and parenting.
Family Counseling
A safe and supportive place to explore family dynamics and challenges
The LCC provides an inclusive setting for some or all family members to come together to explore challenges and dynamics that they face together. Topics explored include healthy communication, parent-child relationships, boundaries and limit setting, and more.
A special way to prepare for marriage and establish healthy habits together
Counseling before marriage, or early on in your marriage, is a unique time to gain insight into your relationship and how to thrive in union together. Areas explored include love languages, conflict- resolution skills, love attachment styles, languages of apology, healthy communication, parenting styles, and other factors that influence healthy living and longevity together. All practitioners at the LCC are SYMBIS certified.
Pre-marital & Early Marriage Counseling
Supervision
Supervision for LPC Associates and masters level practicum/internship students available upon request.
The LCC is partnered with several local agencies and organizations serving women and families. Associates and student interns will gain experience serving their community and private clients while under the diligent supervision of Meghan Lawson, LPC-S.
